HE the Prime Minister inaugurates new expansion of Hamad International Airport

His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, inaugurated the new expansion of Hamad International Airport, which includes a variety of state-of-the-art facilities.

HE the Prime Minister, accompanied by several ministers and senior officials, was briefed on multiple expansion facilities, including the new passenger terminals. He was informed of the terminal’s capacity, with its ability to accommodate arrivals and departures. Additionally, he was introduced to the modern systems the new expansion will use to facilitate the movement of passengers and improve traffic flows.

HE the Prime Minister was also informed of the overall modern equipment and operational processes used to accommodate all guests and travellers, including incoming fans attending the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
