HE the Prime Minister inspects ongoing work at Hamad and Doha International Airports
His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, recently visited the infrastructure expansion and development works currently underway at Hamad International Airport and Doha International Airport to inspect their readiness to begin receiving fans ahead of the forthcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Starting his tour at Hamad International Airport, HE the Prime Minister inspected the airport’s new terminals, in addition to the facilities, equipment and systems that will be used to facilitate the arrival of fans, visitors and guests throughout the tournament’s duration.
Joined on his tour by several senior officials, HE the Prime Minister was also briefed on the working mechanisms of the airport terminals, their capacity and the modern systems and services they utilise.
HE the Prime Minister concluded his visit to Doha International Airport, where he was briefed on the equipment being used and the measures being deployed to help facilitate the arrival of fans ahead of the start of the tournament in November.
