Qatar participates in second meeting for GCC communication offices, centres
The State of Qatar participated in the second meeting of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) government communications delegation heads, organised by Saudi Arabia’s Center for Government Communication, which falls under the Ministry of Media, in partnership with the Royal Commission for AlUla.
Qatar’s delegation was led by Soud Ahmed Al Boinin, Director of Studies and Strategic Planning at the Government Communications Office.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration among GCC media and communication offices. Key initiatives included developing a multimedia-sharing mechanism to enhance regional communications, particularly during national celebrations and shared events.
In addition, the meeting saw the session agree to devleop an executive plan for training and knowledge exchange programs.
The meeting featured information sessions in which delegation heads presented various projects that showcased successful communication strategies, fostering cooperation and advancing government communications across GCC nations.
