Qatar hosts 21st Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition

HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, inaugurated the 21st Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE). Organised by Qatar Tourism, the exhibition is being held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center from 30 January to 5 February 2025.

The opening ceremony brought together an esteemed gathering of ministers, ambassadors, senior officials and influential business leaders.

Spanning over 33,000 sqm, DJWE offers an exceptional platform for networking and highlighting the best in global, regional and local luxury brands. As a key driver of the retail sector, the exhibition continues to position Qatar as a premier hub for luxury tourism.

This year’s edition features an impressive lineup of over 500 brands and exhibitors, attracting more than 30,000 visitors from 175 countries. The event showcases exquisite jewellery, timepieces and rare gemstones, with participation from the world’s most renowned luxury houses and local artisans.

Complementing the main exhibition, DJWE curates a series of interactive workshops and expert-led discussions, equipping industry professionals with insights into emerging market trends and consumer preferences.

A dedicated pavilion for young Qatari designers underscores the exhibition’s commitment to nurturing local talent, showcasing their intricate and heritage-inspired designs. The pavilion also provides training sessions on gemstones, diamonds and the art of jewellery-making.

Bringing together prestigious global brands and talented Qatari designers, DJWE is a celebration of both heritage and modern innovation. The exhibition hosts three dedicated pavilions—the Qatari Pavilion, the Turkish Pavilion and the Indian Pavilion—each offering a unique showcase of craftsmanship and cultural artistry.

For more than 20 years, DJWE has been a cornerstone of Qatar’s luxury landscape, fostering creativity, supporting local talent, contributing to the country’s economic diversification by offering a global platform for cultural and commercial exchange.
