What initiatives has the State of Qatar taken to promote remote learning?+
Qatar Media Corporation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, established two TV stations with the aim of providing a smooth and easy transition to distance learning. Called ‘Education 1’ and ‘Education 2’, the channels will support the efforts of the Ministry to complete the academic year for students and parents.
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has also created a new educational channel on YouTube titled ‘Qatar’s Distance Learning‘ for students in grades 1-12, in order to prepare them, their parents, and teachers for the remote-learning system.
