HE the Prime Minister Attends Opening of Conference on Innovation and Technological Advances for Sustainability
His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, attended the opening of the International Conference on Innovation and Technological Advances for Sustainability (ITAS), at the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST).
The conference saw the screening of a documentary film on innovation and sustainability in the State of Qatar, which included an overview of technological advances driving economic, social and environmental development in the country.
Additionally, His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior inaugurated the conference’s exhibition, which showcases the latest international technologies used in areas of engineering and technology as introduced by several participating IT companies and institutions.
Several ministers and senior ministerial officials, participating state agencies, and representatives of local and regional companies were present when His Excellency presented awards to the ITAS Arab Youth Competition 2023 winners on the side-lines of the conference.
