HE the Prime Minister Honours Participating Entities in Securing the World Cup

In a ceremony held at The Ned Doha, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, honoured the members of the World Cup Security Committee and all the parties from brotherly and friendly countries who participated in providing security services during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

During the ceremony, His Excellency witnessed a documentary about the security operations implemented during the tournament, in addition to methods of securing the international event.

His Excellency delivered a speech in which he commended all those involved in securing the tournament—including the World Cup Security Committee members and the different entities and heads of delegations from the brotherly and friendly countries.

Furthermore, His Excellency extended special thanks to His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, the former Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the World Cup Security Committee, and His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of Security Operations for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

The ceremony was attended by several ministers, heads of diplomatic missions, heads of delegations, senior officials, and other distinguished guests.
