HE the Prime Minister Reiterates Qatar’s Unwavering Support for Somalia
His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has renewed the State of Qatar’s unwavering support for the Federal Republic of Somalia. His Excellency further stressed Qatar’s commitment to supporting Somalia’s state institutions and all efforts aimed at ensuring the country’s security and stability, as well as its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The statement was made during His Excellency’s reception at the Amiri Diwan of His Excellency Hamza Abdi Barre, Prime Minister of the sisterly Federal Republic of Somalia.
In turn, the Somali Prime Minister expressed his appreciation to the State of Qatar for its continued support for his country in various areas.
The meeting was attended by several Qatari ministers and senior officials as well as members of the official Somali delegation.
In a post on his X account, His Excellency the Prime Minister emphasised Qatar’s collaborative efforts, saying: “During my meeting with HE @HamzaAbdiBarre, Prime Minister of #Somalia, we discussed Somalia’s developments & ways to enhance cooperation at all levels, especially in development projects. #Qatar supports all efforts to achieve stability & prosperity for the brotherly Somali people.”
