His Excellency the Prime Minister Honours the 2022 SME Excellence Awards Winners
His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, honoured 50 small and medium-sized enterprises that won the SME Excellence Awards 2022 at a ceremony held in Doha.
The ceremony featured a film about Qatar’s entrepreneurship sector and ways to reinforce robust economic work environment driven by innovation and sustainability. The film also addressed the need to foster competition to drive growth and investment opportunities.
His Excellency watched a presentation highlighting the companies’ contributions to Qatar’s economic growth, covering 13 industrial and service sectors spanning the fields of information technology, electronics, healthcare, manufacturing, marketing, education, trade, food products, navigation and transportation, in addition to design and fashion.
The ceremony was attended by several of Their Excellencies, Sheikhs and Ministers, senior officials, owners of the winning companies, and other guests.
