The 18th Edition of the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition Kicks Off
The 18th edition of the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition has kicked off under the patronage of HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. Organised by Qatar Tourism and attended by several ministers, diplomats, high-level officials and businessmen, the Exhibition is taking place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre from 9 – 14 May 2022.
Over 17 years, the exhibition has brought together local and international jewellery, rare gemstones and watches brands. This year, over 500 brands and 129 exhibitors from 14 countries are participating, in addition to up-and-coming and talented local jewellery designers from Qatar.
The Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition includes a pavilion for young local designers to showcase their talents and designs inspired by the rich Qatari heritage. It also offers workshops on gemstones, diamonds and jewellery design.
Last year’s edition recorded 32,031 visitors from 175 countries around the world.
